New research by RenewableUK reveals that in the last 12 months the total offshore wind under consent, in construction, and operating, has grown from 122 GW to 159 GW, leading to 30% annual increase.
UK still dominates the global market with 38.9 GW, nearly a quarter of global total, followed by China, USA, Germany, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Ireland, Poland, Denmark, and Vietnam.
