Offshore wind to go ‘negative subsidy’ in the UK by mid-2020

Latest round of offshore wind farms that won the UK's Contracts for Difference (CfDs) and are expected to go online mid-2020, are foreseen to be the first to operate with "negative subsidies" and pay money back, according to an analysis led by Imperial College London.
